Blog 1 introduction

The case I chose was the Zodiac killer's, year long killer moniker. This case is about a serial killer who was never caught after attacking at least seven people with the intent to kill them. This case happened between the dates of  December of 1968 to December of 1969. This case was located within various locations in San Francisco, California. 

A reason I chose this case was because of how weird of a killer the Zodiac killer was. Usually whenever a killers victim is found they would at least try to clean the scene or give the least amount of evidence that could be held against them. But instead of doing that, for some reason he gave the police as much evidence as he could. This could be leaving bullet casings, leaving messages on cars, sending letters to the police station, etc. He would even call in to shows when people were trying to lie about being him. On top of that he would call the police to tell them where bodies were and made bomb threats with proof just for the love of the game. There were some people who after decades of working / decrypting the letters, finally cracked some of the codes and are now trying to solve and allegedly confirm who the Zodiac killer was but are still not completely 100% confirmed. To this day we still don't know his motivation of why he did his kills, how many he has killed, or why he was leaving so much evidence against himself.
